Tharsis Lava Flows

The Tharsis region of Mars contains not only extremely large volcanoes, but also extensive lava flow fields. The region covers over 13 million square kilometers. The flows in this image are located in the central part of the volcanic complex. A section of Olympica Fossae can be seen at the bottom of the image.
