Biblis Tholus

Today's VIS image shows the volcano Biblis Tholus. This volcano is located west of Pavonis Mons and is just one of the numerous volcanoes found in the Tharsis region. The large summit caldera in the center of the image is called Biblis Patera. Biblis Tholus is 3km tall (1.9 miles).
