Today's VIS image shows a cross section of Russell Crater, including sand dunes located on it's floor. Best known for it's huge ridge dune (center of image), the floor of Russell Crater contains other, smaller dune fields. Russell Crater is located in Noachis Terra and is 135km (83miles) in diameter.
