VERY Young Crater
About this image
Today's VIS image is located in Arcadia Planitia. The dark rays in the upper half of the image are ejecta from a small crater. This crater is only a couple years old and is just one of a handful of new craters being created by ongoing impact of meteorites into the martian surface.
