Today's VIS image is located on the northern part of Alba Mons. The large linear depressions are graben, a tectonic feature created by faulting. The small channels are part of Ravius Valles. Ravius Valles dissects a broad area on this part of Alba Mons. The channel field is 388km wide (241 miles).
