About this image

Today's VIS image shows two small landslide deposits within a crater. Located in Terra Sirenum, the two craters in this image are located on the floor of the much larger Columbus Crater. The youngest crater in the image is the one in the center. It is possible that the impact that created that crater caused the landslides in the older crater.
