About this image

The ejecta material of the impact crater observed in this THEMIS image is partly eroded as the trend of a regional geologic unit is beginning to emerge from beneath the blanket. The aligned texture is caused by wind erosion which formed yardangs.

Please see the THEMIS Data Citation Note for details on crediting THEMIS images.
