THEMIS Vistas

IMMENSE FLOODS RACED northward through Maja Valles, carving the valley channel and leaving streamlined island-mesas behind craters. At left center lies one crater that formed after the Maja floods were over, as seen by the intact apron of debris surrounds it. This view looks toward the northeast.
