First released as an Art image, this THEMIS VIS image illustrates the result when two meteorites hit the suface together. The typical bowl shape of a single impact crater is modified where the two circular blast regions intersect. This forms the straight wall separating the two craters and the focused ejecta deposits that form the "wings" of the "bee".
